Saturday night and an online music subscription means a Ramones tribute album because Reed made me think of it. Dude I do not know about who these Sherman people are but they have done a nice piece on Blitzkrieg Bahn. Livens up the Food Court, I tell you what.

Right Now

I will state now and for the record that "crazy in love" remains an example of the very best in pop singles -- a perfect collaboration from slightly different artists with multiple styles in the same song. Tight, sharp, mean, fierce and slick.

The thing about the Internet (how many sentences did I start that way ten years ago?) is that now I can go pull the Chi-Lites single that they grabbed the sample from and listen to it until I'm sick of it. (Which, truthfully, might not take long -- although it's its own nice tight fresh little box of nails.)
